Reevaluating your subscription services is a brilliant way to cut down on your spending and if you’re interested in cancelling your TasteCard subscription, then we’re here to help! Check out the post below for more information.

What is a discount card?

Discount cards can be a great way to save money if they’re saving you money on transactions you would already be making. If, however, they’re encouraging you to spend more or if you aren’t using them enough to balance the subscription costs, then cancelling you membership is definitely a good shout.

What is tastecard?

Tastecard is a discount card used in the UK and Ireland for offering discounts in a number of restaurants and dining. During lockdown, their offers have diversified to include offers on takeaways, movie rentals and attractions.

How to cancel tastecard?

If you decide you no longer want your tastecard subscription, you can cancel online or over the phone.

Cancelling online:

To cancel online, log-in to your account at tastecard.co.uk  and then follow this link. You’ll need to press the ‘cancel subscription’ option at the bottom of the page and then fill out the details in the black box on the right hand side. You’re going to need the full name listed on your card, as well as your tastecard membership number. You’ll be asked to give a reason for cancelling and then you just need to click the ‘cancel my membership’ button- easy!

Cancelling by phone:

If instead you prefer to cancel by phone, you can do so by calling 0800 5677 242. Their line is open Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm.

When will my account close?

Like most memberships, your account will remain active up until your next payment is due. So don’t be alarmed if you can still log-in, it doesn’t mean any more money will be taken out of your account. Keep an eye out for that email confirming your cancellation though, and reach out to tastecard again if you don’t receive it within an hour of completing your request.
