1.1 About Us

We have created Nova Money to give you the forecasting technology you need to feel in control of your finances. Nova Money analyses your data to build your personalised forecast. We will use and process your data exclusively used for your benefit, and will not resell it to any third party.

We are registered with the Financial Conduct Authority as a PSD Agent under the reference number 923683, and with the ICO under the reference ZA543319.

1.2 The Service

The Service provided by Nova Money consists in providing you the technology for account aggregation, financial forecasting and financial planning. Nova Money Ltd is acting as an agent of TrueLayer, who is providing the regulated Account Information Service, and who is authorised by the FCA as an Authorised Payment Institution (reference number: 793171).

While Nova Money's financial forecasting technology is designed to provide users with valuable insights into their financial future, it is important to note that these forecasts are not guaranteed to be accurate. Nova Money makes its best efforts to ensure the accuracy of its forecasts, but it is not responsible for any consequences that may result from incorrect or inaccurate forecasts.

Users should also ensure that they input accurate and up-to-date data into the system, as the accuracy of the forecasts is dependent on the quality of the input data. Nova Money recommends that users take the necessary steps to ensure that their input data is clean and accurate, as this will help to ensure the reliability of the forecasts.

By using the Service, you agree that Nova Money may, either directly or through our trusted third party provider 'data provider': TrueLayer Ltd 'TrueLayer', access, process, aggregate and analyse information from one or more payment or financial accounts ('Connected Accounts') that you link to your Nova Money account. By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you also agree to our data providers end user terms which are available here. To use the Service, you must link one or several payment/bank accounts to your Nova Money account.

You will have all of your accounts with multiple banks displayed in one place, so you have a better overview of your finances. To link a financial account using 'Open Banking', we require your consent to access your financial data: transaction history, direct debits and balance. You can revoke your consent at any time, and your consent will automatically expire after 3 months.

When you select an Open Banking provider from TrueLayer Authorisation Dialog, you will be redirected to your bank's website. The consent journey on the bank's website will allow you to select what accounts you want to share with us. If you are a customer of an EU financial institution, you may also see a reference to fino ('fino run GmbH') on the Authorisation Dialog screens.

With Open banking, we will never ask you to input your password or login details.

Nova Money will maintain a read-only access on all your Connected Accounts in order to provide you the Service. You may remove a Connected Account from your Nova Money account at any time, this will automatically delete the connection on the Nova Money server.

1.3 Premium plans

On top of its free service, Nova Money offers Premium plans for advanced financial forecasting and planning.

You can pay your Premium subscription fee in monthly instalments or pay the full subscription once a year. On signing up to use the Nova Money Premium plan, you will provide us with valid and up-to-date credit or debit card details, and you authorise us to charge such credit or debit card for the subscription fee.

Nova Money may change the price for the Premium plan from time to time, and will communicate any price changes to you in advance and, if applicable, how to accept those changes. Price changes for subscription fees will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. As permitted by local law, you accept the new price by continuing to use the Premium service after the price change takes effect. If you do not agree with the price changes, you have the right to reject the change by unsubscribing from the Premium service prior to the price change going into effect. Please therefore make sure you read any such notification of price changes carefully.

If we are unsuccessful in taking payment from your debit/credit card, we will suspend or temporarily disable all or part of your access to the Premium services, and we shall be under no obligation to provide any or all of the Premium services while the Subscription Fee is unpaid.

Your Premium subscription will automatically renew on a monthly basis or yearly basis (depending on the payment instalment you chose), unless you terminate it before the end of the current Premium subscription period.

You can end your Premium plan at any time (we call this a downgrade). You'll still be able to benefit from the services you get for your subscription until the end of the period you have paid a subscription for. After then, you'll become a free user again.

1.4 Privacy and Security

Nova Money is committed to protecting the personal data of our users and ensuring that it is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the requirements of the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We collect and process user data only for the purposes of providing our services, and we do not sell or share user data with any third parties.

1.5 Your obligations

You are not allowed to: 'scrape' content or store content of the Site on a server or other storage device connected to a network or create an electronic database by systematically downloading and storing all of the content of the Site; remove or change any content of the Site or attempt to circumvent security or interfere with the proper working of the Site or the servers on which it is hosted; or create links to the Site from any other website, without our prior written consent.

You must only use the Service and anything available from the Site for lawful purposes, in a responsible manner, and not in a way that might damage Nova Money’s reputation or that of any of our affiliates. All rights granted to you under these terms will terminate immediately in the event that you are in breach of any of them.

1.6 Intellectual property rights

All intellectual property rights in any content of the Service (including text, graphics, software, photographs and other images, videos, sound, trademarks and logos) are owned by Nova Money or our licensors. Except as expressly set out here, nothing in these terms gives you any rights in respect of any intellectual property owned by us or our licensors and you acknowledge that you do not acquire any ownership rights by downloading content from the Site.

1.7 Enquiry and Complain

Should we fail to resolve your complaint, you can refer to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) for an independent dispute resolution: www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk

1.8 Changes to the Terms of Services

These Terms are subject to continuous review and update, therefore we reserve the right to make changes to these terms from time to time and inform you of any significant change.
